Role Summary
The Risk Coordinator administers support processes for designated risk management and insurance operations, including project activation, enrollment workflows, document and system administration, and renewal-cycle support. The role coordinates recurring and ad hoc Risk Management deliverables, supports claims and project closeout processes, and helps maintain accurate records, system access, and operational continuity. All activities support the strategy, vision, and values of JE Dunn.
  • Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on assigned areas of responsibility, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor, as needed.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
RISK COORDINATOR - CORE
  • Coordinates insurance program enrollment and activation, including total project activation and related risk application setup
  • Administers claim coding workflows for trade partners, including weekly and monthly reporting
  • Delivers coordination and administrative support during annual insurance renewal processes
  • Provides backup support for company's internal surety bond agency
  • Assists with the administration of workers compensation claims
  • Maintains and updates various department publications including program brochures and standard operating procedure documents
  • Prepares and distributes weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports as needed for Risk Management stakeholders.
  • Assists in preparing for and scheduling regional risk training, including survey coordination and related meeting support
  • Provides backup support for Origami claims entry and system maintenance in coordination with the Claims Specialist
  • Grants and maintains access to the network drives and supports related file-share/user-access administration.
  • Processes job closing activity and supports data integrity in applicable risk management information systems (RMIS)
  • Maintains assigned risk management records, files, and correspondence across department systems and shared locations, including J Drive, Teams, FedEx, Lockton File Share, Origami, Amazon, and hCue, as applicable.
  • Supports department onboarding and transition activities by updating recurring correspondence and routing communications to the appropriate administrator or risk team resource.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders, brokers, carriers, and third-party vendors to coordinate assigned risk management processes and resolve routine operational issues.

  • Experience supporting insurance, claims, enrollment, project activation, reporting, or document management processes in a construction or professional services environment (Preferred)
