Sr Research Engineer
A senior-level role that leads strategic, multidisciplinary projects, serves as a thought leader, and builds the company's innovation network.
As an Sr Research Engineer you will:
  • Run complex research projects with minimum oversight.
  • Create new conceptual designs and validates them.
  • Contribute to the innovation strategy.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader across engineering levels.
  • Educate other G&W teams on new technology and processes.
  • Consult and supports other teams as needed within area of expertise.
  • Oversee critical research and innovation initiatives from more junior engineers.
  • Build partnerships with universities, labs, and research centers.
  • Represent the organization at global technical conferences.
  • Publish research findings and contribute to organizational IP.
  • Develop schedules, coordinate, and manage feasibility projects of minor to major size with little to no supervision.
  • Develop budgets with little to no supervision.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds a BSEE and has 5+ years of experience.
  • Has demonstrated thought leadership in technical organizations.
  • Possesses advanced skills in managing research ecosystems.
  • Has extensive knowledge of research methodologies and industry standards.
  • Is recognized as an expert in high voltage technology.
  • Has exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Has a strong network of academic and industry collaborators.
  • Can show a proven ability to influence strategic decisions.

The Physical Demands / Working Conditions are:
  • General Office Environment, PC use
  • Light Lifting (occasional 25 lbs or less)

What we offer you:
Typical pay is $96,555 ๏ฟฝ128,577 annually.
