Job description

The Senior Property Manager at TI Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and physical performance of a chosen multifamily  property. This leadership role ensures the property meets company standards for profitability, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and asset preservation. The Property Manager acts as a key liaison between ownership, residents, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of property, ensuring adherence to TI Asset Management’s standards and policies.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor property budgets
  • Foster positive tenant relationships, address resident concerns promptly, and implement retention programs to minimize turnover and vacancies.
  • Complete leadership training,  ensuring high team morale and professional development.
  • Collaborate with leasing and marketing teams to maximize occupancy and rental income through effective strategies and market analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, codes, and regulatory requirements, including affordable housing programs where applicable.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, maintenance programs, and capital projects, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, including financial metrics, market trends, and operational updates.
  • Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to position assets competitively within their submarkets.
  • Respond to property emergencies and support crisis management as needed.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred; advanced degree a plus.
  • Substantial experience in property management, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and property operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant real estate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Real Estate license and/or industry certifications (such as CPM, CAPS, CAM) preferred.
