MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Telecommunications Engineering Specialist, Unified Communications to join our CASTLE-NET Program team. This is a remote position.
Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation's toughest challenges.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Providing administrative, operational, and management support for the CASTLE-NET unified communications infrastructure, including voice and video conferencing systems.
  • Leading a team to support current infrastructure systems, platforms, tools, and components while maintaining standardized setups.
  • Assisting customers with virtual instruction on communication systems and installing and configuring handsets and video endpoints.
  • Planning and leading major technology assignments while evaluating performance results to recommend changes affecting project success.
  • Delivering world-class IT services and responsive customer support to exceed the expectations of USACE OCIO/G-6 IT end-users.
  • Functioning as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and supervising staff to ensure technical requirements are met.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field; or an Associate degree with 2+ years of experience; or 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in unified communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of UC technologies such as VoIP, SIP, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco WebEx.
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring telephony and video endpoints, network protocols, and security best practices.
  • Must possess and maintain a 8140 IAT Level II certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Collaboration or Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator.
  • Familiarity with the USACE IT environment, regulatory requirements, and data security best practices.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $105,900.00-$177,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
