Contracts, Senior Manager
The Opportunity:
Serve as the Senior Contracts Manager within Booz Allen Hamilton's Defense business supporting the Navy, Army, and other DoD components as required. Act as the Senior Lead of a high energy and dynamic contracts team, reporting directly to the Director of Global Defense. Direct and coordinate the contract functions with a focus on acquisition client relationship management, terms and conditions, proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation across a myriad of program types, including systems development, product sales, technical and professional services, and fixed price engagements. Provide expert advice and counsel to internal executives on contractual matters, including advising on contract strategy, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflict of interest mitigation, and risk management. Interface directly with senior leadership, program managers, and contracting officers to address any issues that may arise during capture, proposal development, contract negotiation, execution, or completion. Develop a strategic vision for the Booz Allen contracting team, growing the team's capabilities and offerings to meet business objectives, balancing comprehension of company objectives with current and emerging client requirements and external trends. Lead a team of 18 contract professionals.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience with contract management, including overseeing large, complex proposals, negotiations, and administration for DoD contracts
  • 8+ years of experience with managing a dispersed team
  • Experience with the negotiation of commercial and government contracts
  • Experience with serving as a business advisor or key functional integrator, aligning people, processes, and systems to ensure quality support to clients
  • Knowledge of the federal supplemental regulations such as FAR and DFARs
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with acquisition clients within the Navy and Army contracting centers
  • Experience with FAR Part 12 contracting
  • Experience managing complex product and solution sales
  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,300.00 to $233,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
