Senior Remote Pmp Project Manager information

Is 100k a good salary for a project manager?

For a Senior Remote PMP Project Manager, a $100,000 salary is generally considered competitive, especially when combined with certifications, experience, and remote work flexibility. Salaries can vary based on industry, location, and company size, but this amount aligns with industry standards for experienced project managers with PMP certification. Factors such as project complexity and skill set influence compensation levels.

What is the difference between Senior Remote Pmp Project Manager vs Remote Project Coordinator?

AspectSenior Remote Pmp Project ManagerRemote Project Coordinator
CertificationsPMP certification often requiredMay not require PMP, focus on organizational skills
Work EnvironmentLeads projects, manages teams remotelySupports project teams, handles administrative tasks remotely
ResponsibilitiesOversees project planning, execution, and deliveryAssists with scheduling, documentation, and communication

The Senior Remote Pmp Project Manager typically holds PMP certification, manages complex projects, and leads teams remotely. In contrast, a Remote Project Coordinator focuses on supporting project activities, coordinating schedules, and handling administrative tasks. While both roles work remotely within the project management field, the senior project manager has greater responsibility, decision-making authority, and requires more experience and certifications.

How to make $100,000 a year working from home?

A Senior Remote PMP Project Manager can earn $100,000 or more annually by managing large projects, demonstrating strong leadership, and obtaining PMP certification. Developing expertise in project management tools and maintaining a consistent remote work schedule can also enhance earning potential.

Are PMP jobs remote?

Many PMP project management roles are available as remote positions, especially in organizations that support flexible work arrangements. Remote PMP jobs often require strong communication skills, proficiency with project management tools, and adherence to PMI standards. However, some roles may still require on-site presence depending on the company's policies and project needs.

Who earns more, PM or PMO?

In the context of a Senior Remote PMP Project Manager role, project managers (PMs) typically earn more than PMOs (Project Management Officers) because PMs are responsible for leading projects and have more direct accountability, often commanding higher salaries. PMOs usually focus on establishing project management standards and supporting multiple projects, which generally results in lower compensation compared to senior project managers with PMP certification and extensive experience.

Senior Project Manager - Structural (Buildings)

MSA is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Structural to lead building structure projects serving municipalities and public-sector clients. This role focuses onย municipal facilities, water and wastewater treatment structures, waterfront infrastructure, parks & recreation facilities, and tank design - projects that communities depend on every day.

This is a leadership position for someone who doesn't just manage schedules - you drive outcomes, guide teams, steward financial performance, and build long-term client relationships.

If you're ready to take full ownership of complex structural building projects from pursuit through closeout, this is your platform.ย  You can office out of any of our WI, MN, IA or IL offices

Why This Role Matters

  • Lead pursuit strategy and proposal development

  • Shape how projects are delivered across the firm

At least 75% of your billable time will be dedicated to project management leadership.

For over 100 years, MSA has helped shape communities through engineering excellence. What began in 1919 with a single practitioner in Baraboo, Wisconsin, has grown into a robust firm of over 500 employee owners across the U.S.

Our purpose is simple: to make communities stronger, safer, and more sustainable. We believe in the power of relationships, trust, and doing the right thing - and we take pride in seeing our work come to life.

  • A Culture of Mentorship and Collaboration: Work alongside a talented, cross-disciplinary team that values mentorship, professional development, and team success.

  • A flex time program that empowers you to manage your schedule - because life doesn't always fit inside 9 to 5

  • A flexible work environment, including hybrid and remote options where possible, to support your productivity and well-being
