Job description

Probate Litigation & Administration Senior Associate/Senior Counsel | Remote in California

$160,000–$260,000/year + bonus opportunities

What if you could handle complex, high-value probate litigation without giving up the flexibility of working remotely?

This is an opportunity to join an award-winning California law firm that focuses exclusively on probate litigation and administration, while working alongside attorneys who value collaboration, mentorship, and work-life balance.

What makes the opportunity stand out:

• Fully remote within California

• $160K–$260K base salary

• Year-end discretionary and billable-hour bonuses

• Attorney origination bonuses

• Unlimited vacation and sick time for eligible attorneys

• Mentorship and professional development

• Strong technology and remote-work support

• Award-winning workplace culture

• Opportunities for publications, speaking engagements, and business development

In this role, you’ll handle sophisticated trust and estate matters from inception through trial, including legal research, pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, negotiations, hearings, and client counseling.

You may also handle conservatorships, guardianships, probate administrations, and trust administration matters.

What you’ll need:

• Admission to the California Bar

• 5+ years of probate and trust litigation experience, OR 8–10+ years of civil or family law litigation experience

• Strong case management and client-facing skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

• Strong attention to detail and organization

If you're an experienced California attorney looking for sophisticated legal work, meaningful career growth, and the freedom of a remote practice, this could be worth exploring.
