Job description

Senior GIS Analyst: 5-6 years of experience. Senior Analysts are tasked with
supporting or leading GIS efforts for specific active/planned projects and
supporting business goals and initiatives. The role of a Senior Analyst is
to accurately translate business requirements into technical deliverables
using the NextEra Energy Geospatial Platform and ESRI products.
Responsibilities include web application development, complex mapping,
transmission routing, and data management tasks. Senior Analysts should be
comfortable coordinating with consultants/external vendors also providing
GIS support. For instance, a Senior Analyst may act as a GIS Project Manager
for their specific project, providing support for initiatives includes
RFP/Bid and awarded projects.
Includes but not limited to:
* Lead support of assigned projects as the main point of contact for
developers, this includes attending all project meetings as the GIS SME,
collaborating with other business units to determine needed deliverables,
communicate effectively with the Principal Analyst about all projects.
* Create and maintain all project related web applications, project data,
and Project folders.
* Lead routing efforts on projects by coordinating with developers and any
external consultants performing routing studies.
* Field Maps set-up as needed
* Effective Coordination with consultants, by providing the approved data
schemas and setting up
