Ingredion is hiring a Senior Reliability Engineer who will be at the forefront of driving asset performance and operational excellence by leading maintenance and reliability initiatives that enhance equipment uptime and efficiency. Through a combination of technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration, you will play a key role in shaping proactive maintenance strategies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will drive improvements in the performance of maintenance processes by facilitating maintenance/reliability initiatives, executing projects to improve reliability and efficiency, and providing leadership and technical direction within the maintenance function. This role will report to the Reliability Manager for the site.

What you will do:

  • Drive continuous improvement of maintenance systems through criticality-based equipment strategies, including PM, condition monitoring, and lubrication route development.

  • Provide technical maintenance support to operational units to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

  • Lead reliability data analysis to identify trends, optimize maintenance practices, and support decision-making.

  • Identify and prioritize critical equipment to focus resources on high-impact assets.

  • Act as the Design for Reliability liaison in MOC processes and project execution, including FMEAs and life cycle costing.

  • Facilitate and support Root Cause Problem Elimination (RCPE) sessions to resolve recurring issues.

  • Collaborate with maintenance planners on schedule input and PM optimization, while coaching teams on proactive reliability practices.

  • Apply Ingredion's Safety, Quality, and Financial Safety standards while recognizing and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Technical, or Management field, or equivalent experience; CMRP or CRE certification preferred.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification or willingness to obtain; strong skills in planning, organizing, and project execution.

  • Proficient in CMMS systems (SAP a plus) with solid understanding of maintenance processes and PM optimization.

  • Strong data analytics capabilities, including advanced Excel use and KPI-driven problem-solving.

  • Effective facilitator and presenter with a track record of driving innovation and challenging conventional approaches.

Pay Range:

$102,100.00-$136,166.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
