Job description

At Relativity Space, we're building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. But that's just the start. Achieving commercial success with Terran R will unlock new opportunities to advance science, exploration, and innovation, pioneering progress that reaches beyond the known.

Joining Relativity means becoming part of something where autonomy, ownership, and impact exist at every level. Here, you're not just executing tasks; you're solving problems that haven't been solved before, helping develop a rocket, a factory, and a business from the ground up. Whether you're in propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, or a corporate function, you'll collaborate across teams, shape decisions, and see your work come to life in record time. Relativity is a place where creativity and technical rigor go hand in hand, and your voice will help define the stories we're writing together. Now is a unique moment in time where it's early enough to leave your mark on the product, the process, and the culture, but far enough along that Terran R is tangible and picking up momentum. The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.

About the Team:

Relativity Space's Legal team is nimble, entrepreneurial, and deeply collaborative. Unique to Relativity's fast-paced, high-growth environment, the team works across many departments to support Relativity's ambitious goals. The company is in a formative phase, with enough structure to build from and still plenty of room for you to define what's next. We are looking for an exceptional senior corporate paralegal to become a key member of Relativity's Legal team, reporting to the Sr. Corporate & Commercial Counsel. This role will focus primarily on supporting the corporate legal function and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance and People to support a broad range of corporate, regulatory, commercial, and transactional matters.

About the Role:

  • Maintain corporate records and entity organizational charts, including preparation and management of board and stockholder consents, resolutions, and notices as well as management of foreign qualifications, annual state filings, registered agent changes and other corporate filings.
  • Support equity financing, debt financing and other transactions, including drafting closing checklists, coordinating signatures, and managing due diligence processes and data rooms.
  • Assist with the administration of Relativity's equity incentive plan, including managing Relativity's equity administration platform.
  • Support Relativity's Investor Relations function, including preparation of investor confirmation statements.
  • Negotiate and manage NDAs (as well as other agreements as needed) and coordinate signature requests.
  • Provide other Legal department administrative support as needed, including support on litigation matters (managing litigation calendars and discovery, supporting document productions and drafting litigation holds).

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years as a paralegal
  • Experience in-house or at a law firm working as a corporate paralegal
  • Experience supporting startups or high-growth companies
  • Hands-on knowledge of technology systems that support legal functions, such as contract management systems, Microsoft Office tools, Atlassian tools, and equity management tools.

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Excellent organizational skills and comfort managing multiple workstreams with competing deadlines in a lean legal team
  • High discretion with confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with executives, engineers, and outside counsel
  • Litigation experience, particularly managing discovery, document productions, and litigation holds
  • Notary license
