Job Description Maveris is a cybersecurity and IT services company committed to helping organizations create secure digital solutions to accelerate their mission. We have an opening for a full‐time, Senior Red Team Operations Analyst to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer. The Senior Red Team Analyst will support a dynamic and exciting cybersecurity program for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Veterans are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Conduct offensive security assessments, by adversarial emulation through research and development of real‐world threat actors' tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and executing these techniques within the rules of engagement. Perform penetration testing and red teaming assessments using hacking tools. This includes simulating various attack types such as social engineering, physical intrusions, and network‐based attacks. Develop and execute test plans and rules of engagement for Red Team operations. Analyze security systems and recommend improvements to enhance security posture. Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports and presentations on findings and recommendations. Collaborate with other Red Team members and provide mentorship to junior analysts. Perform technical reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Support risk management activities by identifying potential technical risks and developing mitigation strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field – equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 7+ years of experience in offensive security, including penetration testing and red teaming. Certifications in offensive security, such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, OSWE, GPEN, GWAPT, or similar are preferred. In‐depth knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity principles, and industry best practices. Working knowledge of program/project management software (Microsoft Project, Jira, Microsoft 365/Teams applications, etc.) Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
