Senior IT Interface Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)

About the Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Interface Analyst to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex healthcare interfaces within the Epic ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional with strong healthcare integration expertise to play a key role in enterprise-wide interoperability initiatives.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epic Bridges, Cloverleaf, HL7 messaging, healthcare system integrations, and interface support while collaborating with cross-functional clinical and technical teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration and implementation of new interfaces and enhancements for Epic applications and ancillary systems.
  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain interfaces using Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf Interface Engine.
  • Analyze technical issues and deliver efficient solutions supporting business and operational workflows.
  • Monitor and maintain a complex interface environment to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with Application Analysts, Operations, Clinical Teams, Vendors, and other IT departments to resolve workflow and integration challenges.
  • Serve as a consultant on healthcare integration architecture and interface solutions.
  • Lead workflow and dataflow discussions while managing evolving business requirements.
  • Support production issues, maintenance requests, incident resolution, testing, and system enhancements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Interface Analysts when needed.
  • Estimate project effort and resource requirements for Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Deliver occasional training for Epic Bridges end-user tools.
  • Participate in enterprise integration planning and production support activities.


Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of IT Interface Analyst experience
  • Preferred 5+ years in a healthcare environment
  • Experience with at least two major healthcare system implementations
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience supporting enterprise healthcare applications
