When you join RadNet as a Health Information Representative, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

  • Answer phones, kindly talk patients through the steps and answer their questions and concerns.
  • Organize and prioritize requests for medical records, and route medical records appropriately based on patient's time of exam.
  • Copy electronic medical records and images onto CDs.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to attorneys, referring physicians, and patients requesting medical records.
  • May occasionally drive to nearby centers and/or medical offices to deliver or retrieve medical films/CD's.
  • May cross-train and help in other departments as needed.
  • Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

  • Dependability and professionalism with at least 6+ months of medical/radiology office work experience (or completed medical office training education/program)
  • Computer skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • The ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, clean driving record (No SR-22, DUI or suspended license within the last 7 years), and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds are also a must!
