As a Senior Software Engineer within our Molecular Imaging (MI) division, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing the software that powers nuclear medicine imaging systems used in clinical environments worldwide. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software for imaging system consoles, working closely with cross-functional and global teams to ensure reliable, safe, and performant solutions that support patient care. You will operate in a regulated medical device environment, where software quality, traceability, and collaboration are critical. This position is well suited for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working across disciplines, and taking ownership of meaningful, real-world products.

You are responsible for:

  • Writing and reviewing technical documentation to support software development and system integration.

  • Designing, implementing, and executing unit and integration software tests to ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Interfacing with internal partners (test engineering, systems engineering, product management, etc.) and external partners, including global teams in Germany and India.

  • Adhering to established software quality processes and development standards.

This position may suit you best if:

  • You have strong hands-on experience with C++ or C#, and are comfortable working in large, production-grade codebases.

  • You possess a solid understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented principles, and system architecture.

  • You communicate effectively and are comfortable collaborating across engineering disciplines and geographies.

  • You are self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.

  • You approach challenges with professionalism and are capable of constructively resolving technical or team-based issues.

  • You demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, reliability, and customer impact, particularly in safety-critical systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 5-10 years of professional development experience (ideally using C#, .NET, WCF, WPF, etc. on Windows platforms)

  • Excellent understanding of software engineering practices, object-oriented design, and architecture principles

  • Good working knowledge of multi-threaded application development is a plus.
