Job description

Senior Data And Platform Engineer

Must be willing to work on-site in Cincinnati 2-3 days per week

Location – Down Town Cincinnati – 3 days from office Visa- any

Experience – 10-12 years of experience

Job responsibilities:

This role will serve as L4 support for the Enterprise Data Office. This includes root cause investigation of recurring job or platform operations issues, developing solutions (through automation or process re-engineering), and also new development and integrations.

There is an expectation to learn on-the-job a wide range of technologies which may include:

  • Snowflake, Kafka, AWS, Datastage, PowerBI, Business Objects, Dataiku, or others. Expertise in these is not a requirement initially (there will be a learning curve)

Requirements would be:

  • Coding experience (SQL, Python, Unix (shell scripting is nice to have)
  • Excellent communication skills to understand issues, work with other team members with technical expertise, and document findings
