Overview

This position is responsible for providing analysis and solution of complex business process and technical problems with a focus on improving operational effectiveness and excellence. The Business Operations Analyst will prepare and deliver well-constructed business insights to management, lead teams, and enhance other's understanding of business processes and systems. The ideal candidate is a well-organized self-starter with a passion to optimize the decision-making process through rigorous utilization of data.


Responsibilities

• Extract and deliver useful statistics and insight from business data in order to drive and support operational improvements and business strategies.
• Proactively identify and implement solutions and/or strategies that will help the business better achieve its short and long-term business objectives.
• Prepare complex financial models and forecasting using advanced modeling techniques.
• Responsible for developing high level analyses, recommending courses of action based on data, and presenting to Senior Management.
• Develop and research methods for measuring various areas of business performance and compare against trends and best practices.
• Review, identify, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business process and supporting systems.
• May lead special projects or teams.
• Physical presence in the office/on-site to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree with seven years analytical/problem solving experience, OR Master's Degree with four years analytical/problem solving experience.

2. Experience with tools and programming language such as Python, SQL, PowerBI.
3. In-depth knowledge in statistical analysis, data visualization, data manipulation.
4. Strong competencies in process improvement, change management, and project management.
5. Strong analysis, research and complex problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) or other advanced statistical computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in business or a quantitative discipline.
• Possess an innate curiosity and a strong desire to solve problems.
• Ability to tell a story from analysis to be able to identify/solve business opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
