Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Military & Community Relations Insurance Producer to serve as the face of our agency within the military and local community while helping individuals and families protect what matters most.
Our agency is committed to becoming the most trusted insurance resource for active-duty military members, veterans, military families, and the Greater Houston community.
This position combines community outreach, relationship development, and insurance sales into one rewarding career.
Essential Responsibilities

Military & Community Relations (75%)
· Build and maintain relationships with organizations, military leaders, veterans' groups, schools, and nonprofit partners.
· Represent the agency at military, community, Chamber of Commerce, and networking events.
· Coordinate and execute military appreciation initiatives throughout the year.
· Strengthen partnerships with organizations including the USO, American Legion, JROTC programs, and other community partners.
· Identify new partnership opportunities that support military families and veterans.
· Assist with event planning, sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach.
· Maintain a professional and positive image of the agency within the community.
Insurance Sales & Business Development (25%)

· Generate referrals through community relationships and networking.
· Follow up promptly with leads generated through community events and military outreach.
· Educate customers on coverage options and recommend appropriate protection.
· Cross-sell additional insurance products.
· Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
· Maintain accurate records within agency CRM systems.
Annual Military Initiatives
Assist in planning and participating in:

· Month of the Military Child
· USO Trunk or Treat
· Military-connected school initiatives
· Veterans Day Parades
· Toys for Tots
· Thanksgiving for Military Families
· JROTC Leadership Scholarships
· Community volunteer projects supporting military families and veterans
Qualifications

Required
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· Professional appearance and demeanor.
· Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
· Ability to work independently.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events.
Preferred
· Honorably discharged U.S. military veteran strongly preferred.
· Military spouse or immediate military family member with strong ties to the Fort Campbell community will also be considered.
· Property & Casualty Insurance License (or willingness to obtain).
· Previous insurance, sales, marketing, nonprofit, or community outreach experience.
