[DIRECT HIRE] SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER | MECHANICAL | KANSAS CITY |

Seeking a Sr. Project Management professional to lead complex mechanical initiatives/projects for a large specialty contractor based out of Kansas City.  Seeking candidates that have experience working for Self-Performing contractors.

  • Anticipate $110K-$150K, BOE
  • Full suite of benefits: Health, 401K, PTO, etc.
  • Office-based in Kansas City
  • Will require frequent travel to assigned project sites

Overview:

  • Manage mechanical construction projects, including field staff, subcontractors, and vendors for on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Oversee project coordination, scheduling, and execution while ensuring compliance with contracts, safety, and legal standards.
  • Monitor accounting, profitability, and relationships with clients, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Lead teams per company principles, with substantial travel to jobsites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in construction/mechanical engineering, or 5+ years mechanical trade experience, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years in mechanical construction project management, directly overseeing work (healthcare facilities preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related trades; experience in preconstruction, VDC/BIM a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, clean background/drug/MVR; ability to travel.
