Senior Project Manager Engineering

Location(s): Milwaukee, WI
Type: FullTime | Salaried | Hybrid Eligible | Flex Time Eligible

MSA is hiring a Senior Project Manager who combines deep technical expertise with trusted relationships throughout the Greater Milwaukee network. In this role, you’ll lead projects such as municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, and infrastructure projects. Role Responsibilities

  • Lead municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, and related infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD), municipal agencies, utilities, and regional partners.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance to ensure projects meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, budgets, and schedules.
  • Develop project scopes, fee estimates, schedules, staffing plans, and technical approaches.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating engineers, designers, subconsultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Greater Milwaukee municipal infrastructure market.
  • Lead or support proposals, interviews, presentations, contract negotiations, and client account planning.
  • Mentor and develop technical staff while promoting collaboration, accountability, and high-quality project delivery.

Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related field required
  • 10+ years of related industry experience required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience managing MMSD projects strongly preferred
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position

Pay & Benefits*
  • Compensation Range: $99,875 –$159,800 (commensurate with experience)
  • Flex Time: Work 42 hours this week? Have 2 hours added to your Flex Time balance to use as time off in the future
