 Your Role: Electrical VDC Specialist

Fountain Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical VDC Specialist with 3+ years of electrical installation and/or design experience and 1+ years of experience using REVIT, AutoCAD, or related software. This senior-level position is responsible for developing detailed electrical designs and virtual construction models that support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

The ideal candidate combines strong electrical knowledge with VDC/BIM expertise to create accurate, constructible designs while collaborating with project managers, engineers, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design detailed electrical layouts for electrical rooms, underground conduit pathways, equipment racking, and other critical electrical infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain REVIT-based electrical models and construction drawings that meet company and project standards.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and related design software as needed to support project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field teams to develop efficient, constructible electrical designs.
  • Coordinate with other trades to identify and resolve design conflicts before construction.
  • Revise drawings and models based on field conditions, RFIs, and project updates.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure design accuracy throughout all phases of construction.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of electrical installation and/or electrical design experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience using REVIT, AutoCAD, and/or related design software.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical plans.
