Job Title: Senior Project Architect
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (On-site, Hybrid flexibility on Fridays)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Architect with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality architectural projects from concept through construction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of project execution, documentation, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical development of projects from design through construction

  • Produce and oversee high-quality construction documents (CDs)

  • Develop and implement code compliance strategies

  • Coordinate with consultants (MEP, structural, etc.)

  • Manage project documentation, specifications, and detailing

  • Participate in construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site visits)

  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality across all project deliverables

  • Mentor and guide junior team members

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture

  • 7+ years of architectural experience

  • Architectural license preferred (or in progress)

  • Strong proficiency in Revit (required)

  • Experience with construction documentation and detailing

  • Hands-on experience with construction administration

  • Strong understanding of building codes and project coordination
