Sr. System Administrator
Houston, TX
6-12+ Months Contract
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong expertise supporting enterprise on-premises infrastructure, including Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, storage, virtualization, and networking technologies.
  • Hands-on experience administering VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid environments that integrate on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or equivalent cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity management, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Strong knowledge of network configuration and management, including firewall administration.
  • Experience administering Active Directory, domain controllers, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with SonicWall and Palo Alto firewalls.
