Job description

This position is part of the Department of Energy, Deputy Administrator for Defense Programs. A successful candidate in this position will serve as a Program Analyst to provide technical expertise, knowledge and expert understanding of the full array of program management principles, policies, laws, regulations, and procedures to perform analytical and/or administrative staff assignments of exceptional scope and difficulty.Qualifications:

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level (EN-03 or GS-13) in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience in providing expert advice and guidance to senior program, project, or field site managers and their staffs, managing national security-related programs, planning, organizing leading or personally performing analytical studies, partnering with stakeholder organizations and effectively communicating highly complex, sensitive issues.
