Our client is seeking a hands-on Production Support Engineer, effectively operating as a Full Stack Engineer, to support and enhance mission-critical production systems. This role requires strong technical depth across the stack, a proactive mindset, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will not only resolve production issues but also contribute to improving system stability, performance, and automation, working closely with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience as a Full Stack Engineer supporting production systems.
  • Proficiency in backend development (e.g., Java with Spring Boot or equivalent enterprise frameworks).
  • Solid experience with frontend technologies (e.g., Angular, React, or similar frameworks).
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and Agile environments.
  • Ability to debug issues across application layers under time-sensitive conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting high-traffic, production-grade applications.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with DevOps practices, containerization, or infrastructure troubleshooting.

  • Develop and deploy bug fixes, enhancements, and minor features directly into production environments.
  • Monitor application health, logs, and performance metrics to proactively identify and mitigate issues.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth releases and post-release stability.
  • Improve production support processes through automation, tooling, and documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely support during critical incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with security, performance, and operational best practices.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $90,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
