Senior Application Support Analyst – Aladdin Front Office (7–10 Years)

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Application Support Analyst to join our global Front Office Application Support team supporting a leading asset management business. The role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and operational excellence of the Aladdin platform supporting portfolio management, order management, trade execution, trade booking, and post-trade workflows.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of experience supporting front office investment management applications, with strong hands-on expertise in BlackRock Aladdin. The candidate should possess a solid understanding of the investment lifecycle and be comfortable working directly with portfolio managers, traders, investment operations, and technology teams in a fast-paced global environment.

Key Responsibilities

•             Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for Aladdin and related front office applications.

•             Investigate and resolve production issues impacting portfolio management, order management, trade execution, trade booking, and confirmations.

•             Perform root cause analysis, coordinate with BlackRock, technology and business teams, and drive issues through to resolution.

•             Develop and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting, data validation, and analysis.

•             Build automation scripts, preferably using Python, to improve operational efficiency and monitoring.

•             Participate in production releases, change management activities, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

•             Support a global operating model with collaboration across regional teams and participation in incident management.

Required Skills

•             7–10 years of experience supporting investment management or capital markets applications.

•             Strong hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin, including front office workflows.

•             Good understanding of the asset management trade lifecycle and front office business processes.

•             Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets.

•             Scripting experience, preferably in Python, for automation and operational tooling.

•             Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technology teams.
