Vista Reno is looking for talented, fun, and energetic Senior Production Operator to join our world class manufacturing plant in Reno, NV!

Working hours will be Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm 

Hourly rate for this position: $26.08 for the first 90 days and $28.08 thereafter

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting in the production of customer orders by running and troubleshooting various types of equipment based in designated department. They will perform equipment/process preparation, producing customer orders achieving quality standards and performance metrics, quality checks, troubleshooting, and light maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Understanding of loading and operation of various types of equipment
  • Set up, run, and troubleshoot Digital printing and coating equipment, Bindery equipment, or Die Cutting equipment.
  • Ensure all products are printed, processed, and cut as outlined in SOP standards.
  • Clean and check area to ensure no malfunctioning, broken, or damaged equipment is being used.
  • Perform regular quality checks, working to consistently reduce internal defects and ensuring a quality product is delivered to the proper customer on time.
  • Troubleshooting on various types of equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance of equipment as needed.
  • Assist other Team Members as needed based on workload and production needs.
  • Attain production/process performance targets

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • High School diploma; or equivalent
  • Technical, Manufacturing, Printing or Quality courses or experience
  • Team player who is reliable, eager to learn, train and rotate through the various operations.
  • Strong dedication to team member morale, customer service, safety and quality
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience in a lean or production manufacturing environment
  • Previous printing experience

Compensation: 

Hourly rate for this position: $26.08 for the first 90 days and $28.08 thereafter

The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as location, education, training, and experience.
