Summary:

We are expanding our SMB Product team and hiring two Senior Product Managers to lead high-impact product areas within the SMB business: Candidate Delivery products and Proactive Sourcing. These areas power a significant portion of ZipRecruiter's employer value today and collectively drive tens to hundreds of millions of dollars in business impact.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the product vision and execution for one of these two areas, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and cross-functional stakeholders to build and scale experiences that improve employer outcomes and drive business growth.

Please note: This posting represents two distinct Senior Product Manager roles within the SMB Product organization. Following your hiring manager interview, we will align you to the product area that best matches your experience, strengths, and business needs before advancing through the remainder of the interview process.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Act as an Owner: Take full accountability for your product domain, from high-level KPI setting to the nuances of daily execution.
  • Lead Core Product Areas: Direct the product roadmap for your aspects of the SMB product to improve customer value and product effectiveness.
  • Obsess over your metrics: You will have a deep understanding of the metrics that drive your product area.
  • Connective tissue with GTM: Define the ideal pricing, packaging, and positioning for your products. Coordinate with the GTM team on how the products are marketed and sold.
  • Voice of the User: Serve as the voice of the SMB customer to the rest of the team, constantly talking to your users, doing product discovery, and conducting user research.
  • Champion AI-Driven Development: Lean into ZipRecruiter's AI-first DNA to build personalized, proactive experiences that act like a personal recruiter for every seeker.
  • Coordinate Marketplace Fit: Partner closely with job-seeker-side product teams to ensure a healthy, balanced marketplace where employer and seeker actions lead to successful hires.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven Leadership: 5+ years of proven success in product management, with a record of delivering results
  • Deeply Analytical: You are a data-obsessed problem solver who doesn't just look at dashboards but interrogates the "why" behind the numbers.
  • B2B Expertise: Deep experience building business-facing products at scale
  • AI/ML Fluency: You aren't just a fan of AI; you understand how to leverage Machine Learning to solve user problems and have experience building AI-powered product features.
  • Customer-obsession: You have a passion for speaking directly with your users and personally conducting user research.
  • Strategic Versatility: You are a "smart generalist" who can be thrown at any complex problem—whether it's a technical architectural hurdle or a brand-new market opportunity—and figure it out.
  • Self-Motivation: You are highly driven and thrive in an environment where you are given the autonomy to drive massive impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Marketplace Experience: Previous experience at a two-sided marketplace (e.g., jobs, real estate, rideshare).
  • SMB product experience: Previous experience leading products specifically geared towards SMB customers.

As part of our team you'll enjoy:

  • Competitive salary
  • Exceptional benefits package
  • Flexible Vacation & Paid Time Off
