Job description

A Senior Engineer shall have a minimum of a bachelorโ€™s degree in civil, architectural or structural engineering. Professional registration as a licensed Civil Engineer is required; a Structural Engineer license is preferred. A masterโ€™s degree is appreciated. Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and practice is required. Must have the ability and desire to learn project-engineering skills as well as be personable to maintain positive client relationships for ZFA.

A Senior Engineer is to meet the responsibilities of an Engineer in addition to being responsible for the successful management of projects. Senior Engineers are responsible for: the quality of structural engineering work performed, project profitability for structural engineering projects, high-quality client service, effective utilization of staff, maintenance of the positive reputation of the office and some marketing tasks. A Senior Engineer possesses the primary daily design and technical skills necessary to conduct work with a great degree of independence. A Senior Engineer also shows initiative in assisting with office- and firm-wide improvements.

Responsibilities
