The XFn Senior Associate will report directly to senior leaders and play an active role in cross-functional engagements that span the entire deal and transformation lifecycle. You will support key initiatives, manage discrete workstreams, and work closely with clients and senior team members in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. If you thrive in a high-performance culture and want to help build the future of a rapidly growing consultancy, this is the right role for you.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and clients to solve financial and operational challenges across due diligence, value creation and preservation, transformation, bankruptcy readiness and IB processes (M&A, restructuring, capital raising)
  • Analyze financial statements and operational metrics, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flows, debt schedules and related KPIs

  • Located or willing to relocate to Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles or New York
  • Invested in a team-based culture, motivated to collaborate in office four days per week and willing to work at client sites as needed
  • A minimum of four years of experience in investment banking or private equity
  • Formal financial modeling training from a top-tier institution or firm
  • Demonstrated ability to build three-statement models, thirteen-week cash flows, dynamic KPI dashboards and complex ad hoc analyses - or the aptitude to develop mastery quickly
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teams
  • High attention to detail, responsiveness and ownership mindset
  • Track record of success in high-pressure, client-facing environments
$250,000 - $375,000 a year
