Job description

Senior Graphic Designer

Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for executing and elevating all aspects of print and digital design, with a strong emphasis on creating high‑performing digital assets across web, email, paid media, and social platforms, alongside key print deliverables such as brochures, direct mail, onboard marketing, and trade materials.

Position Responsibilities
  • Design and production of print and digital materials, including large‑scale brochures, direct mail campaigns, trade collaterals, onboard marketing collateral, specialty pieces, web, email, and social assets.
  • Work closely with the Leads, Manager Creative and Sr Copywriter and Digital teams to ensure designs align with brand identity, messaging, and marketing objectives, and collaborate with the digital team to maintain consistency across channels.
  • Maintain a high level of design excellence, ensuring materials are visually compelling, strategically effective, and executed to the highest production standards.
  • Provide creative direction, constructive feedback, and support to junior designers.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop marketing collateral that supports sales, trade marketing, and onboard guest engagement initiatives, aligning with campaign objectives and business goals.
  • Collaborate with print vendors to guide production quality, paper selection, finishes, and cost efficiency while staying within budget.
  • Ensure proper file preparation for press, adhering to best practices in color management, resolution, and printing specifications.
  • Proof and obtain approvals on projects as required.
  • Troubleshoot design and production challenges to maintain efficiency and accuracy in all printed materials, communicating issues promptly to project management and leadership.
  • Apply digital best practices, including responsive design, UX/UI principles, and platform‑specific requirements for email, social, and paid media.
  • Stay informed on print design trends, production techniques, and emerging materials to enhance the quality and impact of printed marketing assets.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in print marketing to elevate brand storytelling and engagement.
  • Establish efficient processes and guidelines for print design projects, ensuring smooth execution from concept to final production.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines while continuously refining and elevating the company’s design standards.
  • Perform other job‑related functions as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or related field of study, or any equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • Field(s) of Study: Graphic Design and/or Advertising preferably from a Design/Fine Art institution or equivalent background.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in a corporate or agency creative department, with solid knowledge of marketing, brand, and design principles.
  • Competencies & Skills:
    • Strategic thinking and creative skills (written, visual, and conceptual).
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
    • Self‑motivation and positive interaction with a wide range of individuals.
    • Broad understanding of typography, color theory, current design, and advertising trends.
    • Strong corporate identity and branding experience.
    • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
    • Experience with digital design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
    • Solid understanding of responsive design, email marketing best practices, and social/digital platforms.
    • Working knowledge of UX/UI principles and user‑centered design.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Travel: Travel to domestic and/or international locations may be required.
