Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000

SUMMARY

Manager responsible for the oversight and execution of maintaining and repairing the facility and equipment that used to support manufacturing and other subsequent activities. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage outside vendors; getting quotes and scheduling, negotiating and executing projects to completion. 
  • Direct facilities maintenance such as; electrical, plumbing, roofing, lawn care, snowplowing, etc.
  • Directing manufacturing maintenance such as; reviewing and directing equipment preventive/predictive maintenance programs, machine repairs. 
  • Assist staff with complex equipment problems or with major equipment failures, repairs or overhauls.
  • Establish means of responding to maintenance calls and set call/project priorities.
  • Leading and coaching other fellow associates to execute operator based maintenance and proper care of the facility. 
  • Documenting work orders and prioritizing the activity of the maintenance team.
  • Advising the leadership team as necessary.
  • Other duties may be assigned.    

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise equipment mechanics, shop personnel, electricians, electronic technicians, maintenance welders, carpenters, plant janitor service, and other production-support maintenance personnel.     

Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

College or technical school and/or (10) years of relevant work experience including experience in a leadership role.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: 

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following technical competencies: Electrical troubleshooting 12-24 VDC & 110-480 VAC Pneumatics Fanuc Controls Troubleshoot Machine Controls CNC equipment HVAC & RTU  Powder coating dept. with pumps/ovens/washers
