Senior HR Generalist (Labor Relations)
Our client is seeking a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building strong partnerships across all levels of an organization. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on support in recruiting, employee relations, labor relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate is approachable, adaptable, and capable of driving positive workforce outcomes while supporting operational objectives.

This role is on-site in the Pendleton, Oregon area.

Senior HR Generalist (Labor Relations) Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts for hourly and plant-based employees.
  • Partner with operations leadership to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workforce development.
  • Support labor relations activities, including contract administration, grievance resolution, and collaboration with union representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices while maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Administer HR programs including benefits, leave management, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational development activities.

Senior HR Generalist (Labor Relations) Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting labor relations, collective bargaining agreements, and employee relations matters.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations, HR compliance requirements, and workplace investigations.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills; HR certification or prior leadership experience is a plus.

Salary: $80K-$90K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
