We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipeline Integrity Technician to join our team and contribute to the safety and reliability of pipeline systems.

Position Summary: The Pipeline Integrity Technician at XCEL NDT LLC is responsible for supporting the integrity management program to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of pipeline systems. This role involves conducting inspections, assessments, maintenance, and repairs to prevent pipeline failures and environmental incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in non-destructive testing, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and Monitoring:

    • Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of pipelines using various NDT methods, including ultrasonic testing, magnetic flux leakage, radiography, and visual inspections.
    • Monitor pipeline conditions using advanced technologies such as inline inspection tools (smart pigs) and cathodic protection systems.
    • Collect and analyze data from various monitoring systems to identify potential issues and trends.
  • Maintenance and Repair:

    • Perform maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity of pipeline systems, including coating applications, leak repairs, and corrosion control.
    • Coordinate and execute pipeline repair activities, including excavation, pipe replacement, and weld inspections.
    • Collaborate with other teams to plan and schedule maintenance and repair activities.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, assessments, maintenance activities, and repairs.
