Summary
HII's Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations.
The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. The program is scheduled to launch in early 2026 and due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required.

What you will do
The Senior Physical Security Specialist (PHYSEC) will act as a subject matter expert for all aspects of physical security. This position may also be leveraged by the Government Security Team to provide SCIF construction support and back-up Program Security Administration. Up to 25% travel may be required.
What we are looking for
  • 0-10+ years experience with Bachelors in related field OR
  • 0-8+ years of experience with a Masters in a related field OR
  • 4-14+ years of experience with High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in drafting and executing Construction Security Plans (CSPs)
  • At least 7 years of practical expertise in the interpretation and implementation of the ICD/S 705 Technical Specifications
  • Experience in managing an Access Control System (ACS)
  • Experience in managing an Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
  • Experience in managing a closed circuit camera system
  • Working knowledge of how to create and implement an Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
  • Experience creating and updating facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s
  • Experience conducting a physical security inspection of a SCIF
  • Experience completing and managing a Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) and TEMPEST Checklists as living documents
  • Working knowledge in applying security in depth concepts as they pertain to Facility Security Level (FSL)
  • Experience in Antiterrorism Force Protection (ATFP)
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office application Suite
  • Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start with ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly.

Preferred Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in operating an ACS
  • Experience designing and deploying an Access Control System
  • Assignment as Construction Site Security Manager
  • Experience in completing an ICD/S 705 Shipboard Checklist
  • Experience in applying TEMPEST countermeasures
  • CDSE PSC Certification or IC equivalent
