Must have extensive Testing experience and strong Java/Groovy experience

Top Three Skills:

  • Performance testing experience required- must take ownership with developers
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of performance testing techniques and tools like JMeter, or, the knowledge to suggest other tools
  • Java / Groovy programming experience used in developing JMeter samplers

Responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact for all performance testing issues and needs
  • Work with the Development, Database, and Quality Assurance teams to solicit feedback on requirements / needs as they pertain to their respective application development efforts
  • Write a test plan for projects, cycles, sprints, etc.
  • Write a load/performance test cases and scripts.
  • Execute load/performance test cases and scripts.
  • Write reports/procedural manuals and present information to a wide audience.
  • Manage third party vendors who conduct performance testing
  • Write SQL queries, using logic for validation.
  • Effectively communicate with QA and Project teams, contribute in meetings and report to upper management.
  • Effectively document product features and releases.
  • Ability to describe, from a QA perspective, how a feature works.
  • Ability to organize yourself to meet deadlines, complete all deliverables, including documentation
