Job Summary

Hunter Industrial & Commercial is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead and oversee demand generation, product marketing, and eCommerce initiatives. This role is responsible for setting direction, aligning resources, and driving performance across marketing channels that support multiple sales channels, including direct end users, distribution partners, and eCommerce.

This is an in-office role based in Smyrna, Tennessee, reporting to the Hunter Industrial leadership team. The position will lead a team and agency partners, ensuring marketing strategies are effectively executed to drive pipeline growth, support sales efforts, and successfully launch new products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the development of integrated lead generation strategies that support pipeline growth and revenue objectives

Establish performance metrics and monitor campaign effectiveness across the marketing funnel, ensuring continuous optimization

Guide go-to-market strategy and execution for new product launches, including positioning, messaging, and rollout plans

Provide strategic direction for eCommerce initiatives, including Shopify platform growth, customer experience, and conversion performance

Support and align marketing efforts across multiple sales channels, including:

Direct end-user sales

Distributor and representative networks

eCommerce and emerging direct sales channels

Partner closely with sales leadership to ensure marketing programs support revenue goals and enable sales effectiveness

Oversee development of sales enablement tools, including presentations, product collateral, and training resources

Manage and optimize a $1M+ annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and measurable ROI

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, accountability, and professional development

Manage external partners and agencies to ensure alignment, quality, and timely execution

Drive projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines, objectives, and quality standards are met

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on B2B strategy, demand generation, and product marketing

Experience managing and developing marketing teams and external partners

Proven experience managing $1M+ marketing budgets with accountability for performance outcomes

Demonstrated ability to support multiple sales channels, including indirect and partner-driven models

Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms (strategic oversight preferred)

Strong project leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives from ideation through completion

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing industries

Familiarity with distributor-driven or hybrid sales models

Experience supporting eCommerce within a broader multi-channel sales strategy

Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, and digital analytics platforms
