What is a senior people partner?

Senior People Partners are experienced human resources professionals who act as strategic advisors to organizational leaders and managers. They help align people strategies with business goals, manage complex employee relations issues, and support talent management initiatives such as performance, development, and organizational change. Senior People Partners also play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices. A Senior People Partner works closely with executive and departmental leaders to align people strategies with business goals, often serving as a trusted advisor on topics like change management, diversity, and team development.
