  • Perform soil/rock classifications and laboratory analysis for use in geotechnical engineering analysis across multiple markets, including the commercial and telecommunications industries.
  • Perform field resistivity testing; foundation and foundation modification installation monitoring and inspection; hand auger and dynamic cone penetrometer testing; and field logging of soils (when necessary)
  • Complete geotechnical engineering calculations to determine the capacity of existing foundations or for the use in the design of new foundation elements, pavements, earth retention systems, etc.
  • Consult with related disciplines, both internally and externally, during and after analysis and report preparation phases

  • Review calculations, reports, and field logs prepared by others
  • Support training initiatives and help develop best practices
  • Additionally, and as workload dictates, cross-over duties within the Civil/A&E, Environmental and Structural Departments will be required.

Due to the nature and limited timelines of most projects, the selected individual should be willing and capable of exhibiting the work ethic and social ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment where communication with co-workers and strategic partners is paramount.
Computer Software Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required
