Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Developer with strong expertise in Oracle databases, complex SQL, PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, data modeling, ETL, and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, database-driven applications, data visualization tools, and enterprise development environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, maintain, and support Oracle database solutions and database-driven reporting initiatives.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and other database objects.
  • Perform SQL and database performance tuning for large and complex datasets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex DML, DDL, logical, and functional coding issues.
  • Develop and maintain data models while ensuring data quality, validation, and referential integrity.
  • Support ETL processes involving data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Utilize version control and CI/CD tools to support database development and deployment.
  • Document database designs, system architecture, workflows, and technical solutions.

Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL, including complex queries and database objects.
  • Extensive experience with SQL performance tuning and database optimization.
  • Strong understanding of DBMS, relational database design, and data modeling.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets.
