Job description

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

A Day In The Life: Provide the necessary leadership to ensure the internal and external integrity of Bunge Chicago Clearing. Establishing the standards for operational excellence with all in house clearing/execution systems for all stakeholders of Bunge Chicago. Manage all levels of customer service and compliance. Act as the ambassador for Bunge to all regulatory institutions.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Daily balancing, margining, and reporting internally and to exchanges
  • Managing the delivery process with external counterparties and internal trade team
  • Fidessa and T4 limit management, system compliance, and system access support
  • Support senior accounting manager with the daily balances with the CME and ICE
  • Work with the back-office to address any discrepancies
  • Work with backoffice system provider to ensure all trade activity has been reported
  • Foster external relationships with the CFTC, CME, ICE and all related examiners such as Deloitte and Ernst and Young
  • Pro-actively provide guidance and support to all trading entities utilizing the clearing services of Bunge Chicago
  • Cultivate relationships within Bunge to ensure operational efficiencies and collaborative problem‑solving solutions
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve data management and reporting
  • Assist with projects impacting Bunge Chicago or trade flows
  • Assist senior accounting manager with compliance activities
  • Incorporate Bunge Core Values and foster the One Bunge model
Skills/Experience Requirements:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience
  • College degree
  • Understanding the basics of trading and its elements
  • Futures delivery experience
  • Understanding of exchange compliance requirements
  • General accounting understanding
  • Relationship building capabilities
  • Capability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and written with all levels of the firm
  • Ability to coordinate needs of the Bunge trade organization and the Global Execution Desk
  • Detail oriented
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team environment

Bunge offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays.

The compensation range for this position is $98,296.00-$110,583.00. In addition to the regular compensation, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
