Job description


This is a Telemetry Monitor Technician Supervisor role at Riley Children's Hospital offering a flexible schedule (days/nights) to be determined in collaboration with the department, along with flexible weekend and holiday coverage. A BLS certification is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must have 3-5 years of cardiac telemetry experience.
Job description:
Supervises and directs the duties, responsibilities, schedules and daily operations of the non-invasive cardiology team. The non-invasive supervisor will partner with the department manager to recruit, hire and develop training for the non-invasive cardiology team. The supervisor will resolve problems in a collaborative fashion with all team members and department leadership. The supervisor will ensure the provision of 24/7 patient care services by developing effective working relationships with leaders from nursing, clinical engineering and IT services. The supervisor will collaborate with department leaders and contribute to the decision-making process. The supervisor will be available by phone after hours and weekends as needed to support the department.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cardiac telemetry, EKG or related cardiology field required.
  • Requires ability to be self-directed and work independently.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Requires the ability to promote teamwork and develop team members.
  • Requires basic computer operations experience and some familiarity with software programs such as Word; Excel and Outlook.
