Job description

Job Summary:
Odyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem. They are seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the Combat Readiness Directorate Air Force Metrology and Calibration (AFMETCAL) program, focusing on implementing secure operations and managing information assurance requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of DoD, USAF, and MAJCOM policies while updating local processes to ensure secure day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with the Government to identify and satisfy Information Assurance (IA) requirements aligned with DoD standards and system architectures.
• Formulate architectural designs, functional specifications, and documentation for hardware and software systems using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to achieve Authorization and Accreditation (A&A).
• Manage the development, modification, and review of critical security artifacts—including System Security Plans (SSPs), Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs), and IT Categorization packages—while conducting Verification and Validation (V&V) testing and Continuous Monitoring.
• Serve as the IA Liaison, lead the IA Integrated Process Team (IAIPT), and evaluate technical security implementations against JSIG, NIST 800-53, and relevant DoD/AFIs to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of mission systems throughout their lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be a US citizen
• Clearance: Secret
• Masters Degree and 10 years of related experience; OR Bachelors Degree and 12 years of related experience
• Proficient using Visual Studio programming Environment developing web applications using ASP.net (VB, C#, MVC) JavaScript HTML, css and Bootstrap
• Mid to advanced Oracle database experience to include database design, ANSI SQL proficiency, SQL/PL experience and stored procedure experience
