Position: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Washington, DC
Clearance/Citizenship: US Citizenship required to support a federal client

Summary:
Experienced software developer to lead the design and development of an integrated web application to support the client's internal business processes. Will work closely with the project manager, other development leads and subject matter experts to analyze requirements, develop application architecture and design key application components as part of the core development team. Will lead a team of 3-4 module developers to design, develop and integrate multiple modules into the overall product. Will be responsible for interfacing with Analyst, QA, infrastructure and support teams to support planning activities for QA and release deployment phases.
Key Responsibilities
  • Writing secure, reusable, and easily maintainable code
  • Design, develop and maintain ASP.Net applications following industry best practices
  • Database design/development - MS SQL Server (2008, 2012, 2014)
  • Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and partners

Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • 4-year degree in a related field, or equivalent certifications and experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience developing web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
  • In-depth experience with C# and ASP .NET 4.5.
  • In-depth understanding of relational databases and SQL for implementing database-driven, web-based applications using T-SQL and Stored Procedures
  • Strong experience in ASP.NET in C#, .NET Framework, Web Services, WCF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Web Forms, MVC, JQuery, Angular JS, SOA
  • Experience with advanced UX technologies/frameworks including development of Rich Internet Applications (RIA)
  • Experience in Visual Studio & Team Foundation Services
  • Experience in MS SQL Server 2012/2014, T-SQL & Stored Procedures
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability
