PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $54,800.00-$66,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $45,032.00 - $79,100.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

  • Create meaningful mortgage solutions: You'll connect with members in person and through brokers, focusing on more than just selling mortgage loan packages. Your role will involve understanding their needs, offering the right solutions, and building long-lasting relationships.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships: You will be the first point of contact for mortgage products and services, working to deepen relationships with agents, builders, and other professionals. Your ability to create and deepen mortgage sourcing relationships is essential for the success of BECU's expansion markets.

  • Generate new mortgage relationships: Prospecting and lead generation will be a key part of your role, with a focus on creating new mortgage relationships to drive BECU's growth.

  • Contribute to individual and team goals: Your role goes beyond just selling; it involves contributing to the overall goal attainment, coaching and developing referral generation, and enhancing the member experience.

  • Represent BECU in the community: Actively participating in community organizations and events to generate new mortgage business and educate others about the benefits of BECU's mortgage products and services.

  • Serve as an escalation point: Being a direct point of contact for member issues and concerns, demonstrating the value and support BECU offers.

  • Moderate travel required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or education related experience

  • Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan sales experience, self-generating mortgage volume of $12 million or greater annually

  • Compliance with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expert relationship management, problem resolution, and customer service skills

  • Strong sales, prospecting, and follow-up skills

  • Proficient math skills, with a high degree of accuracy including the ability to perform complex income analysis

  • Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language
