Position Overview
The Senior Mobile Developer plays a critical role in designing, building, supporting, and enhancing AutoPayPlus mobile, web, and backend applications.
This position requires strong experience across mobile development and Microsoft-based backend systems. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute immediately to our existing environment without requiring significant ramp-up in C#, .NET, SQL Server, API development, production support, or mobile application development.
The Senior Mobile Developer will collaborate closely with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions that improve the member experience and support business outcomes in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using Angular, Ionic, Capacitor, and/or Cordova
  • Build and support responsive web applications for desktop and tablet experiences
  • Design, develop, maintain, and integrate REST APIs using ASP.NET Web API and ASP.NET Core
  • Develop and support backend services using C# and modern .NET technologies
  • Maintain existing applications built with .NET Framework 4.x and modern .NET
  • Work with Microsoft SQL Server and write efficient T-SQL
  • Create and maintain stored procedures, views, and complex SQL queries
  • Diagnose and optimize SQL performance and query execution
  • Maintain web services and integrations with third-party APIs and enterprise systems
  • Implement real-time functionality such as messaging, chat, alerts, and notifications
  • Manage mobile application releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play
  • Troubleshoot and support applications across development, QA, staging, and production environments
  • Support IIS-hosted applications in a Microsoft enterprise environment
  • Participate in production issue resolution and root-cause analysis
  • Contribute to Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, developers, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
  • Continuously improve application performance, architecture, scalability, security, and development practices
Required Qualifications
  • At least five years of professional C# and .NET development experience
  • Strong experience developing Angular applications for web and mobile use
  • Hands-on experience with Ionic, Capacitor, and/or Cordova
  • Experience developing and supporting applications for both iOS and Android
  • Experience building REST APIs using ASP.NET Web API or ASP.NET Core
  • Experience developing and integrating .NET-based APIs and backend services
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Experience creating or maintaining stored procedures, views, and complex SQL queries
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications
  • Experience implementing real-time features using technologies such as WebSockets, SignalR, or Firebase
  • Experience implementing push notifications using APNs and Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • Experience managing releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play
  • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Strong understanding of mobile UX, responsive design, performance, and notification-driven experiences
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
