Job description

The Team

ConvergeSPORTS is a product-driven business combining Deloitte's sports industry experience with proprietary data, AI-native decision intelligence, and reusable Converge capabilities. We help sports organizations grow revenue, deepen fan engagement, optimize partnerships, and improve commercial performance while operating with the focus of a product company.

Our teams work with leagues, teams, venues, rights holders, media organizations, sponsors, and brands across fan data, digital experiences, and commercial analytics. Cross-functional product teams turn market needs into scalable products and repeatable decision workflows rather than one-off solutions. This role sits within the Mobile App product team and works closely with Product, Design, mobile engineering, backend engineering, data, quality engineering, and platform services.

The ConvergeSPORTS Mobile App is a fan-facing digital product that brings together content, identity, engagement, personalization, notifications, and commercial experiences. The product team owns the end-to-end fan journey and works with Architecture, iOS and Android Engineering, Backend Engineering, Data, Design, and Go-to-Market to deliver measurable releases.

Position Summary

ConvergeSPORTS is seeking a Mobile App Product Manager to define, deliver, and scale the Mobile App. You will translate fan needs and sports business priorities into product strategy, mobile workflows, data requirements, metrics, and releases that Engineering and Design can execute. You will own the roadmap, backlog, launch readiness, adoption measures, and continuous improvement cycle for the product.

Recruiting for this role ends on 9/30/2026.

Work you'll do

You will own the Mobile App from discovery through release, adoption, and continuous improvement. Your work will include:

  • Own the Mobile App vision, roadmap, backlog, release plan, and success measures across fan-facing content, identity, engagement, personalization, and commerce experiences.
  • Conduct fan, client, and stakeholder discovery to define user problems, journeys, data needs, business outcomes, and product priorities.
  • Create requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, mobile flows, prototypes, data definitions, and measurement plans.
  • Partner with Mobile Architecture, iOS and Android Engineering, Backend Engineering, Data, and Design to sequence work and resolve tradeoffs.
  • Define required APIs, identity, event data, content, notification, personalization, and measurement capabilities with Engineering and Data partners.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint reviews, demonstrations, release readiness, App Store or Play Store coordination, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Balance market needs with reusable architecture, shared components, configuration, and mobile product scalability.
  • Track adoption, engagement, retention, experience quality, data quality, implementation effort, and commercial feedback.
  • Develop product narratives, demo flows, sales enablement materials, and roadmap communications for the Mobile App.
  • Define AI-native or agentic mobile experiences using trusted data, clear permissions, evaluation criteria, and human review points.

The successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to connect fan needs, sports business outcomes, mobile journeys, data structures, and software behavior.
  • Structured product thinking that turns ambiguous needs into testable requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Clear communication with executives, product leaders, data scientists, engineers, designers, and delivery teams.
  • Hands-on ownership of requirements, backlog, demonstrations, metrics, and release decisions.
  • Collaborative influence across matrixed teams without relying on direct authority.
  • Curiosity about fan behavior, mobile engagement, content, loyalty, commerce, and AI-enabled digital experiences.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, data product management, analytics consulting, product strategy, or digital product delivery.
  • 3+ years of experience managing roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, releases, or product metrics for software, data, or analytics products.
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with mobile engineering, design, data engineering, data science, BI, AI/ML, or advanced analytics teams.
  • Experience defining mobile requirements, data needs, metrics, event schemas, APIs, or analytical outputs for at least one product.
  • Experience using Agile product tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Productboard, or comparable platforms for at least one year.
  • Experience taking at least one product capability from discovery through production release and post-launch measurement.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on client, market, and product needs.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in sports, media, entertainment, sponsorship, fan engagement, CRM, ticketing, loyalty, or adjacent consumer industries.
  • Experience with mobile applications, identity, CRM, loyalty, ticketing, personalization, segmentation, recommendation, content, or mobile analytics.
  • Hands-on SQL experience or experience using BI tools to validate data, metrics, and product behavior.
  • Experience defining or launching GenAI or agentic product features, including grounding, tool use, evaluation, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Graduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
