Job description

Geo-Logic Associates (GLA) is a privately-held, multidisciplinary, geologic, geotechnical, hydrogeologic, civil, and environmental consulting firm. Our highly experienced professionals manage projects through 30 US office locations and an office in Peru. GLA is currently seeking an experienced full-time Senior Civil Engineer to support civil/site infrastructure, solid waste, mining, and environmental remediation projects. Projects focus on solid waste facilities and may also include general civil engineering design, stormwater hydrologic and hydraulic design, geotechnical design, and mining facilities. Projects typically also include significant regulatory compliance components.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Colorado PE license or ability to obtain same by endorsement
  • 10 years of previous work experience in solid waste management, site/civil, and stormwater design
  • Project management, client management, proposal writing, oral, and written communication skills beneficial
  • Capability to work well individually and in groups/teams


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, HydroCAD, and other related civil engineering software applications
  • Existing established client relationships a plus
  • Familiarity with federal, state and local environmental regulations for waste disposal and mining sites
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certified
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time


Candidate Must:

  • Be eligible to work in the United States
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen


Pay range: $127,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience
