Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation (DGOC) is an established owner and operator of producing conventional and unconventional natural gas & oil wells and midstream pipelines and compression stations concentrated in the Appalachian Basin in the United States. Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSBIBILITIES:
The Production Data Analyst (PDA) will work closely with upstream and downstream business groups to ensure timely closeout and complete transfer of required measurement data. Subsequently will perform variety of critical volume processing, balancing, and allocating duties within but not limited to FDC, FlowCal, and Enertia. The PDA will use skills, knowledge and abilities to identify measurement and allocation inaccuracies and applies critical thinking skills to resolve problems and accurate measurement and allocation data.
Special focus to be placed on:
  • Analyst is accountable for daily transactional support of the Measurement and Allocation (MA) process, as well as providing business analyst support to ensure the accurate and complete data capture within the MA process
  • Key responsibilities include the validation of the production data, data entry to the corporate accounting system (Enertia), reconciliation of data quality and integrity issues, and reporting of key process outputs and measures
  • Work collaboratively to obtain well/meter data capture from Operations and other sources
  • Reconcile daily validation and approval of production data into the corporate volume reporting systems, including the resolution of inaccurate/incomplete data
  • Reconcile the necessary functions to input production data of assigned area assets into the system including the resolution of all upload errors
  • Reconcile all theoretical and allocations errors of assigned area to allocate an accurate daily and monthly production allocation within Enertia
  • Verify and ensure the accuracy of all production reporting for the asset that may include the creation of requested reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate Degree from an Accredited College; Previous experience in a related field/industry will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Strong analytical skills and strong ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and formal written correspondence
  • Well-developed math skills including the ability to understand and apply mathematical equations, formulas, fractions, percentages, etc.
  • Comfort in calculating and computing formulas, quantitative results and challenging anomalous trends. Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities and deliver under pressure
  • Experience with SQL script writing and SQL databases is a plus.
  • Background in Data, analytics, mathematics, and accounting is a plus
  • Software: Any previous experience with FlowCal, Enertia, FDC, Power BI Intermediate to advance proficiency levels for Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.

Additional Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
