We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Journey team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is open to hybrid or full remote. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting‑edge web solutions to enhance Customer Journey.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and deliver end‑to‑end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high‑quality software solutions.
  • Own end‑to‑end feature development, from concept to deployment.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns.
  • Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (Angular, React, TypeScript).
  • Strong proficiency in server‑side languages (Java, Node.js).
  • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Experience with work‑management platforms such as Azure DevOps or similar.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.

  • Works independently with minimal guidance.
