Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Architect to support our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) business, with a focus on Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Revenue Cycle Management.


In this role, you will collaborate with business and technical teams to design and implement scalable solutions that support core revenue cycle functions, including order processing, documentation, claims, reimbursement, billing, and collections. You will contribute to system integration efforts across platforms such as Brightree, EMR systems, and ERP solutions, helping ensure reliable and efficient data flow across the organization. This position operates within an established enterprise architecture framework and partners closely with senior architects and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and business-aligned solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

  • Design and implement IT solutions supporting DME Revenue Cycle and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.

  • Support integration of Brightree and related platforms with EMR, ERP, and other enterprise systems.

  • Apply established architecture standards, integration patterns, and best practices in solution design.

  • Design data structures and data flows to support reporting, analytics, and operational KPIs.

  • Partner with development teams to promote adherence to coding, integration, and automation standards.

  • Participate in Agile delivery processes with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system optimization.


Work Experience Requirements

  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5-8

  • Experience with Order-to-Cash (OTC) or Revenue Cycle Management systems

  • Familiarity with Brightree or similar DME platforms

  • Experience integrating business applications across the revenue cycle (e.g., EMR, billing, ERP systems)

  • Exposure to data modeling and reporting concepts

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards or interoperability frameworks

  • Exposure to data analytics or business intelligence tools

  • Experience working in Agile environments

  • Awareness of emerging technologies, including automation and Generative AI

  • Understanding of DME business processes and workflows

  • Working knowledge of modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) with the ability to review code, support integration development, and guide engineering teams

  • Experience developing or supporting APIs and integrations (REST, JSON/XML) across enterprise systems

  • Knowledge of integration approaches (APIs, middleware, or event-based architectures)


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field


Pay Transparency Statement:
